How much reading should I do prior to my course?
Although no prior knowledge is expected, we recommend you read the study material sent to you prior to the course starting as this will further help your learning and understanding of the subject matter.
Do you produce a study guide to help me in my studies?
We produce a study guide and study planner to help you structure your studies and revision.
What are the recommended study hours for each subject?
We recommend you spend a minimum of 150 hours of independent study per paper. This is reduced by a minimum of 50 hours if you attend a classroom-based course.
Do I have to complete my training within a certain time?
Ideally you should complete your study within 6 months of receiving the materials. This is because changes take place regularly to the syllabus and regulatory environment which can mean your material can become dated.
What exactly does the course cover?
Our study material and courses cover the entire examinable syllabus. They work through the syllabus with a logical and systematic approach, providing you with helpful explanations to key concepts and useful solutions to the more interpretative areas of the syllabus.
What additional support do you offer?
For full details on all the support we offer, from face-to-face to e-support, visit the Study Support section of this website using the navigation bar on the right hand side of the page.
If I fail my exam do you provide a refresher course or will I need to take the whole course again?
We currently do not offer refresher courses. However, our tutors will be more than happy to work with you to try and establish areas of weakness before you re-sit a specific course again.
