BPP Online Learning™ FAQs

• What PC set-up do I need to access BPP Online Learning™?
  As a minimum you require the following:

  • an operating system (Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME, XP, Mac OS or Linux)
  • a computer with a Pentium processor 233MHZ or above
  • a soundcard
  • speakers/headphones
  • 32MB RAM
  • a screen resolution of at least 800 x 600
  • screen colours of 16 bit (high colour) or more
  • internet browser e.g. Internet Explorer 5.x or Netscape 4.x and above

• I have not been given a username and password to access BPP Online Learning™.  What do i do ?
  Your username and password will have been sent to you with your booking confirmation letter. If you do not have this to hand, call our Client Services team on +44 (0)20 7786 5999 or email financialservices@bpp.com and they will be happy to give you the details you need.

• I cannot access BPP Online Learning™ using the username and password I was sent?
  Your username will be a capital letter followed by six digits. Your password will be four capital letters followed by four digits. Access to BPP Online Learning™ is case sensitive so make sure all the letters you are entering are capitals.

• What is an online tutorial?
  Each of our online tutorials is a 10-15 minute long multi-media tutorial, presented by our own expert team of tutors. They cover specific core topics and/or difficult areas of the syllabus along with discussions of exam questions and how to answer them.

• How will the online tutorials benefit my studies?
  Using our online tutorials will help you reinforce your knowledge of key areas of the syllabus.

  • You can search for a particular word or review a particular key area.
  • You can listen to each tutorial as many times as you feel you need to, stopping and resuming the presentation at any time.

  If at any time during or after the tutorial you want to test your understanding of the subject, simply take one of our online tests.

• Are the online tutorials up-to-date?
  Yes. We continually update our online tutorials to ensure you are fully prepared for the next exam sitting incorporating all regulatory and syllabus changes.

• Who can I contact if I have any further questions about the topics they cover?
  Our tutors are always on hand to answer any questions you may have, supporting and guiding you throughout your studies. If at any time you need to contact a tutor, follow the link from BPP Online Learning™ to our expert tutor team.

• What computer specification is required to access and view the online tutorials?
  You only need to have access to the internet to benefit from our online tutorials. They do not require any additional plug-in software so you do not need to download anything. They work on a 56K modem as well as a broadband connection so you can access them at home as well as in the office.
