SIIM (Wealth Management) Training Courses 2008

Commencing March 2008

BPP are launching brand new training courses and study materials for the new SII Masters
Programme in Wealth Management  (also recognised as the Diploma in Wealth Management or Wealth Management Diploma) starting in March 2008 (towards the June 2008 exams). This qualification is ideal if your employees work in portfolio management, private banking or if they are financial advisers dealing with high net worth clients.

BPP are the provider of choice for the SIIM (Wealth Management), solely supplying training courses and study materials for your employees towards this qualification.

Course structure and dates

The SIIM (Wealth Management) is structured in 3 modules as follows:

• Financial Markets - The environment in which wealth management operates
• Portfolio Construction Theory - The theory of portfolio construction and behaviour
• Applied Wealth Management - Practical portfolio construction and management
  

BPP will be offering training courses for your employees for the June 2008 examinations of
the first two modules - please download our SIIM Wealth Management Flyer to view the dates.

Exemptions

Your employees must complete all three modules to obtain the SIIM (Wealth Management)qualification. However, an exemption is initially available for the Financial Markets module so if your employees have successfully completed Investment Analysis or Interpretation of Financial Statements from the existing SII Diploma programme, they can gain an exemption from Financial Markets and move straight on to Portfolio Construction Theory.
